Nigerian Man Scared Of Returning Home, Allegedly Breaks Traffic Rules In US

Here is a footage from a court proceeding of a Nigerian man that was accused of breaking the traffic rules in the Rhode Island, US.

According to a video making rounds online, the Nigerian man in response to all the questions asked by the Chief Judge Frank Caprio, painstakingly asked "if he would be sent back Nigeria or sent to prison".

The Judge who seem not to be hard-handed was compassionate with him and granted him bail after he found him not guilty as charged.

Cops Who Killed Osaze Osagie, Nigerian Student In US, Cleared Of Charges

State College cops who killed Osaze Osagie, a Nigerian student in the United States, have been cleared of all charges. The police officers had implemented the use of force while serving a mental health warrant that resulted in the death of Osaze Osagie on March 20. According to a the Centre County District Attorney Bernie Cantorna, the officers were in a “life-and-death situation” when they shot Osagie who was approaching them with a 5.16-inch steak knife, Onwardstate reports. Osagie died of multiple gunshot wounds after the confrontation at his apartment on Old Boalsburg Road. Two ladies have taken to social media to mock 'Yahoo Boys' and ritualists over the growing pant theft menace which has been rocking the country Nigeria for quite some time now. The cases of stolen underwear are on the increase with many of such stories going viral, just as there are more stories that ladies are now losing their pants at gunpoint. The young ladies were pictured removing their underwear on the road which they claim is 'spiritually fortified' as they beckoned on the pant thieves to come and do their worse. During an interview last month over the pant theft, a lady identified as Akinpelu Boluwatife, said she is now more careful about where she puts her underwear as news of disappearing undies is now common. She said that she has already joined the bandwagon of ladies who no longer wear pants as a result of the situation.

A former student of Makerere University Business School, Arthur Basalirwa, posted a screenshot from a WhatsApp chat, dedicated to a one ‘D” and it read; “Hi D. You will always ask yourself if you had sent me a more meaningful text. These are your last words to me. Goodbye D.” From the screenshots of the WhatsApp chat he shared, Basalirwa seemed to have undergone a rough breakup with his girlfriend. His friends say that he was planning his marriage, after visiting his fiance’s parents at a traditional Kukyala ceremony. Judgement on P&ID $8.9billion Gas Contract Is A Daylight Robbery – Magu The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has commenced an investigation into the circumstances leading to the $8.9billion arbitral award against Nigeria by a United Kingdom Court over alleged breach of gas contract agreement between it and Process and Industrial Development Limited.
