Publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore has reacted to the  N10 billion libel suit filed against him, the Sahara Reporters Incorporated and the Incorporated Trustees of Sahara Media Foundation by the General Overseer, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry, Dr Daniel Olukoya for their failure to desist from publishing false and malicious articles against him and his church, MFM, since 2013. Boko Haram Tries To Take Over Military Base In Borno

Boko Haram fighters battled Nigerian soldiers for about an hour on Wednesday as they tried to take over a military base, in the latest attack against troops in the restive northeast. A former local government official, a civilian militia member and a motorist who witnessed the shooting said the Islamist militants tried to storm the outpost in the village of Mainok in Borno state. Troops managed to repel the attack with the help of reinforcements but it comes after a series of similar raids targeting soldiers that is likely to stoke fears of a resurgence. Wife of the President, Dr. Aisha Buhari has reacted to the claims by singer Timi Dakolo that “some strange men” made attempts to invade his residence.
