Unemployed 37-year-old Nigerian woman commits suicide

A 37 year old lady simply identified as Banke, committed suicide last Sunday. According to her friend, Esther Ijewere, Banke slid into depression as everything wasn't working for her.

She was without a job and in a violent relationship before taking a walk. Oshiomhole condemned the statements at the Presidential Villa after the APC Senate caucus and the party’s senatorial candidates met with President Muhammadu Buhari. “Nigeria is not a colony. We will not accept any foreign interference in the internal affairs of Nigeria,” he said. He argued that judges get dismissed in Europe and the United States without interference. “They (judges) have been dismissed across the world when they are found guilty of corruption and the western world cannot, on the one hand when it suits them, describe Nigeria as fantastically corrupt and when a corrupt judicial officer is being charged, people want to interfere.” Oshiomhole’s comments were in reaction to questions about the criticism that had trailed the suspension of the CJN. 'Rambo' suspect Yves Rausch held in Black Forest after five-day hunt

German police have arrested a suspected gunman nicknamed "Rambo" after a five-day manhunt in the Black Forest. Yves Rausch, 31, is said to have fled into the forest near Oppenau, in south-west Germany, on Sunday after threatening four police officers and taking their pistols. An elite unit, helicopters, thermal detectors and sniffer dogs had been deployed to find him. After his arrest, officers seized four firearms, according to a statement. A postal worker gave police information which helped lead to his arrest and one person was injured during the operation, Germany's Bild daily is reporting.
