A 37 year old lady simply identified as Banke, committed suicide last Sunday. According to her friend, Esther Ijewere, Banke slid into depression as everything wasn't working for her.

She was without a job and in a violent relationship before taking a walk. State College cops who killed Osaze Osagie, a Nigerian student in the United States, have been cleared of all charges. A Nigerian man has tested positive for deadly Wuhan coronavirus in the United States of America. This was announced on Saturday night by the Mayor of District of Columbia (DC), Muriel Bowser, in a news conference. GLOBAL TIMES learnt that the man whose name is yet to be ascertained, lives in Nigeria and is in his 50s, but had been staying with his family members in Washington recently. According to Bowser, he tested positive in Maryland, where he remains hospitalised. Officials said; “DC Health has been notified by the State of Maryland of an individual who stayed in DC before presenting himself to a Maryland hospital and then tested positive for COVID-19 by the State of Maryland. Former Brazilian international Ronaldinho Gaucho was ordered to remain in jail in Paraguay on Saturday after a judge ruled him a flight risk. The ex-Barcelona forward was arrested on Friday for attempting to enter Paraguay with a false passport two days earlier and spent Friday night in a police cell along with his brother and business manager Roberto Assis. The pair asked to be released into house arrest but that was rejected by the judge, who also dismissed Assis’s claims to have a heart problem because he showed no proof. Judge Clara Ruiz Diaz said their alleged offence was a "serious one against the interests of the Paraguayan state". Because the pair posed a flight risk they must remain in custody, she added. Italy has placed up to 16 million people under quarantine as it battles to contain the spread of coronavirus. Anyone living in Lombardy and 14 other central and northern provinces will need special permission to travel. Milan and Venice are both affected. Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte also announced the closure of schools, gyms, museums, nightclubs and other venues across the whole country. A junior doctor was beheaded by her boyfriend after she refused to marry him, police say. The boyfriend then tried to take his own life but failed. 26-year-old Shyngys Bekenov, a teacher, proposed to his girlfriend Nazerke Bekzhanova, 21, who had recently graduated from medical university in Kazakhstan. But Nazerke refused to accept the proposal because her parents did not approve of him, it is believed. Angered by her rejection, Shyngys severed his girlfriend's head as they sat in his car. A Nigerian man named David Ukesone who boarded a flight for the first time in his life, has been hospitalized after being tied with sit belt on a flight from Nigeria to Chicago on the 23rd of January, 2018.
